eCore—short for electronic core-curriculum—allows University System of Georgia (USG) students the opportunity to complete their first two years of their collegiate careers in an online environment. eCore courses are taught entirely online, except for the occasional proctored exam. eCore courses are designed, developed, taught and supported by faculty and staff from the USG.
Orientation
Before you can register for eCore courses the first time, you need to complete the eCore Orientation and Quiz. This orientation gives you very important information regarding what it is like to be an eCore student. The eCore orientation quiz will take approximately 15 minutes. You must know your CCGA Student ID number as well as your campus email address to complete the quiz. Within 24-48 hours after taking the orientation and quiz, you will receive an email with instructions on how and when to register for an eCore class.
